Our Saint Louis, Missouri Bartending School:
The Bartending Institute consists of approximately 1,267 square feet of a well-lit and air-conditioned/heated classroom and administrative offices located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, at 909 Fee Fee Road. Convenient and well-lit ample parking is located adjacent to the school.
The Bartending Institute was opened in 1979 and is currently owned by Ffives, Inc. The Bartending Institute keeps class sizes to a maximum of 12-to-1 student/teacher ratio. This allows for individualized training and special assistance if students require it. Upon completion of our 40 hour program students are given instruction on how to search for a job in the bartending field utilizing our placement assistance.
The Bartending Institute is dedicated to thorough, professional training of individuals who wish to enter the bartending field. Our comprehensive up-to-date program provides understanding of both alcoholic beverages and the ingredients used to mix those beverages. In addition, our students are well versed in the proper mixing of cocktails, wine and beer service, basic bar operation and management, ordering supplies, handling money, liquor laws, customer service and responsible liquor service. The Bartending Institute provides students with the opportunity to develop these skills and enter the field as a professional bartender.
The Bartending Institute has over 22 years of experience in quality vocational education and professional leadership in the Food and Beverage Industry.


The Bartending Institute's classroom is designed to replicate an actual bar environment. The classroom is equipped with an approximately 27 foot L-shaped wet bar and a 10 foot dry bar. Additionally, the classroom contains standard bar stools, mixing equipment, an assortment of glassware, ice machine, music system, and all other necessary utensils and equipment to train a student in the field of bartending. All bars stocked with simulated liquor, mixes and garnishes so that the students are able to practice effectively and efficiently.
